1. What did you do in 2011 that you’d never done before?

I went to Rome! I jumped into the sea from a cliff while someone was hugging me! I finished my first year in uni!

2. Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year? 
I try to keep them. My resolution for this year is to learn more, do more, create more and just .. keep improving myself.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? 
Nope

4. Did anyone close to you die? 
Fortunately, no.

5. What countries did you visit? 
Italy, UK obviously.. or should I say Bulgaria? :D

6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011? 
Less drama, not only for me but for my friends too. 

7. What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory? 

I’m not sure about the dates, but here are the months:

April 2011 - My best friend came to visit me in Birmingham

May 2001 - Went to Rome with my mum

August 2011 - Armin Van Buuren at Cacao Beach

September 2011 - Met my friends in Birmingham again!

September/ October/ December 2011 - STYLE Birmingham Live, Midlands Fashion Designer Awards, Clothes Show Live

December 2011 - Started my internship with VIVA Aspire

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? 
I started going to interviews in the UK to find a placement for the next year of my degree. I am gaining experience every time. My internship with VIVA Aspire is something I have always wanted to do - being a part of a marketing agency. Although I just started it, I am super excited about it.

Apart from it, I started enjoying being behind the camera too, which got me to some amazing events and I was lucky enough to meet lots of new people.

9. What was your biggest failure? 
I might have let some people down and I am truly sorry about it.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? 
Not that I can recall. Yay health!

11. What was the best thing you bought? 
My camera! Nikon D5100 and my lens. Also my HTC Desire Z, thank you phonee! I’m so lost without the map on it! 

12. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed? 
People who are constantly depressed and moaning about it, instead of doing something and change it. I try to help them but it really pisses me off and gets me down at times.

13. Where did most of your money go? 
Starbucks coffee and coffee in general, shoes, plane tickets, going outs.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? 
Internship opportunities, summer summer summer! 

16. What song/album will always remind you of 2011? 
Anything by Maroon 5, I connect different songs with different people or events. T. Mills too, which I was playing all summer long.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: 
i. happier or sadder? 200% happier
ii. thinner or fatter? Probably a bit thinner but I need to work out more.
iii. richer or poorer? Ehm, I don’t know .. the same I guess.

18. What do you wish you’d done more of? 
More reading & travelling. 

19. What do you wish you’d done less of? 
Wasting time! 

20. How will you be spending Christmas? 
Spent it with my family, and fell asleep at 9pm :D Then woke up at midnight, went out, got back at 3 am and went back to bed!

21. Who did you spend the most time on the phone with? 
Most probably mum 

22. Did you fall in love in 2011? 
Yes

23. How many one night stands in this last year? 
Haha, none.

24. What was your favourite TV programme? 
America’s next top model. I don’t follow any other show really.. 

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? 
No.

26. What was the best book you read? 

How to make it as an advertising creative by Simon Veksner - made me realize that I can’t be a creative since I don’t have the skills! :D

27. What was your greatest musical discovery? 
Above and Beyond - I’ve been listening to them quite a lot this year

28. What did you want and get? 
A professional camera to take beautiful pictures with. A smartphone that won’t let me get lost again :D People who are not prejudiced and appreciate someone’s ambitions. New friends. 

29. What did you want and not get? 
Understanding :D

30. What was your favourite film of this year? 
I really don’t know. Harry Potter?

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 
I turned 20 this year, threw a party in the house with some friends. Nothing so special though.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? 
If I already had a placement.. there is still time, so fingers crossed!

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011? 
Femme, elegant, clean and bright.

34. What kept you sane? 
Music, coffee, talking to my supportive parents, learning to depend on myself.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? 
Jared Leto please!

36. What political issue stirred you the most? 
Rising university fees in the UK, then the riots.. 

37. Who did you miss? 
My family, my best friend. 

38. Who was the best new person you met? 
Viki and Juste - They are not new friends but we became much closer this year and they make me laugh so much, I can’t wait to see them! I miss them awfully right now!

You won’t get what you want if you don’t have the courage to ask for it.
